Well, i cant even believe that you are going home already. I guess i could be saying the sme thing about myself though. Here in just a few short months i will be able to call you. I have to say i remember the day that using my own cell phone and calling people would have never come. And now it is just around the corner. Logansport was definitely an amazing area and it was just not the same with you and Elder Slade not there anymore. I really did and do miss the two of you and hope to be able to make a trip up to tar ID some day after returning home. I know i am planning on going to the general conference in April after i get home, so maybe i can make a little side treck up there. Or maybe you will be in Salt Lake, who knows. But it was an honor to serve around the two of you and i cant wait to talk to ya again!! I love you two!!! Keep in touch!

Hello Elder & Sister Slade!
I am really sad to see both of you go! I loved serving there in Carmel right next to you and finally getting to know you! I also still remember seeing you at the dedication of the new chapel in southern Lafayette. Thank you so much for everything that you did for us in this mission. Thank you for the cinnamon rolls, the oreo pie, and the other goodies you gave to Elder Floyd and I. I am glad that I was able to do something to help you in driving the new cars in from the dealership.
I love you both and hope to stay in contact with you after I get home!
Love,

Hello My Dear Friends!

Brother and Sister Slade, thank you so much for your service here in Indiana! I'm so happy to have been able to spend time around you. I feel that a bit special because I got to spend time with you in Logansport, and really get to know you there. I feel like I know you better than most missionaries here save for the Assistants. You are great, and have been a big help for me in times of medical distress, with my tooth issue. There are so many great things about serving a mission, and meeting people such as yourselves is such a highlight! Take care of good ole Star ID for me, and stay in touch!

Love you

Dear Elder and Sister Slade,

It was very nice serving with you even as short a time as it was. I have come to love the people who are here on our mission to help protect us and be safe. Heavenly Father is very much concerned for our physical safety as our spiritual safety and that is reflected in your service. We love you both!

Sister Wilson

Elder and Sister Slade,

Thank you so much for your service to the Lord in the Indiana Indianapolis Mission. I didn't have the opportunity to serve around you guys, but I heard you two were awesome missionaries. There was a senior couple that just returned from their missions from Harlan, Kentucky here in Warsaw, Indiana, and they have just a sweet spirit about them of how can we help right when they got back at home, the missionaries loved them in Kentucky. And we love you too here in Indiana. Senior couples bring a special spirit into a mission just like sisters do, there is just something unique about Sisters and Senior Couples.

Love,

Elder Quinney

Dear Slades,

I love y'all so very much, I hope you know that! I loved being so close to you two when I was in Carmel. I really am going to miss y'all! I remember when Sister Parker brought ribs over and Sister Findley, the Assistants, President and Sister Collins, the Zionsville Elders and us were all there, that was so fun! President Collins just kept giving me more and more ribs. Haha! I'm greatful to have know you both, y'all have been a grand example to me! I hope that I was able to do the same for you, and I hope I was am to invite the spirit into your home! I hope that after the mission I'll be able to see you both again, and we can recall the sweet memories we had together.

I love you Elder & Sister Slade and I'll never forget you.

Love,

Elder Nathan Floyd

Elder and Sister Slade!

I love both of you so so so much! I am so grateful that I was able to meet you here in wonderful Indiana. I truly love the both of you so much, and am so grateful for all the work you have done for me while I have been serving. I also really enjoyed that time when we drove the new cars off of the lot. I loved the trip that was an unexpected hour long, the drive back, and almost getting lost as we try to get through a barrage of traffic. I am so grateful for that time to get to know you.

Elder and Sister Slade, I want you to know how much I love this Gospel. It truly is amazing, and a great blessing to me in my life. I have truly come closer to my Heavenly Father and to Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to them and the many wonderful Blessings they have given to me. I know that this work, that spreading the Gospel is truly a blessing to others, and that it can bring them closer to Christ. I love that. I love that my testimony has been strengthened, and that my love for them will continue to increase. I know that They love me, and I continue learning that from the Book of Mormon. I am grateful for it, and I am grateful the both of you. You are both are so amazing, and bring a smile to my face. I truly do love you both.

Love,

Sister Ashley Freer..... E.T.T.E

Dear Elder and Sister Slade,

I am so glad I had the opportunity to work with you both while you were in Logansport. I really liked the yummy treats at district meetings too. :) I really enjoyed getting to know you and then it made it very enjoyable when I needed to contact you at the office for help.

You are both so very sweet and I am so happy you decided to go on a mission. I can tell the work that you did was priceless to the mission! You will be greatly missed.

I would like to share my testimony with you that I know the Lord loves each one of us so much and He is so happy when we help others to feel His love and receive the blessings He wants to give us. I know that Jesus Christ lived His life and then gave it for our salvation and eternal happiness. I believe with all my heart that God restored the very same authority that Jesus once used to establish His church and now we can enjoy the blessings that come from the gospel. I know that the Book of Mormon is the key to that knowledge and that it is a powerful witness of the Savior and His atonement.

Thank you so much for all you are and do. Have a wonderfully fantastic life! With Love, Sister Lambson

Thank you so much elder and sister slade for all the time you have given in serving the lord and serving us missionaries and helping the work move along. It can't be easy giving up the time that you have in your life and i definitely appreciate all that you have given up and all that you have given may the lord bless you with all your future endeavours.

Love,

Elder John Moore : T

Slades,

Thank you for being awesome! I was glad that I had the opportunity to serve in your district in Lafayette. Those were good times. I loved role-playing with Elder Slade.

I am also glad that you went to the office because that gave me the opportunity to continue to occasionally work with you both, no matter where in the mission I was. I loved Elder Elmer, but I gotta say that Elder Slade is a lot easier to understand on the phone.

I hope all goes well in your future travels.

God Be with you till we meet again.

-Elder Allred

Elder and Sister Slade,

Thank you two so much for your wonderful examples and dedicated service. You two have done so much for the Lord and a ton for the Mission. I feel very blessed for the opportunity I had to be in the Mission home with you, and to hear and feel of your testimonies of the Savior and His work. You two are definitely diligent servants of Him and I have really enjoyed our talks about good ole Henefer Utah. Ha-Ha I wish you two the best in your journeys and I hope you know you are always welcome to come by ole H-town if you are ever in the area. Have a great one!

Thank You for all the things that you two have taught me. I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to serve with you in Lafayette 3rd Ward and also to talk to you at the office. I know that everyone there loved you and appreciate all the work you put in, especially for the open house even nobody from the other churches wanted to come. Sister Slade thank you for all the wonderful District snacks, they were delightful. Elder Slade thank you for all the chats we were able to have. But most importantly thank you for loving us young missionaries.

I love you both,

Elder Mark Lyman

Dear Elder and Sister Slade,

If I had to describe your service here in Indiana I would use the word "passionate."

Your hard work and diligence has always impressed me. I was grateful to work with you in Lafayette and sad to see you go to the mission office. Never-the-less, your serving spirits were needed elsewhere in the mission. In both cases I saw you make a great impact on the lives of those you served. Thanks for being willing to follow in the pioneer footsteps and sacrifice of yourselves to help make Zion's Stakes that much stronger. You will both be greatly missed.

With love,

Elder McCarrey

Dear Elder and Sister Slade,

It has been the greatest privilege to serve with you these several

months. Your testimonies show in your incredible example of

Christ-like love and service. I truly enjoyed our time in Carmel

together. I hope that we'll be able to keep in touch.

Thanks for all you've done for me! The prayers, quinoa, support,

dinners, insights, and diligence in the mission office... Thank you so

much!

I surely love you, Elder Deardeuff

Elder and Sister Slade,

I can't believe that you're about to go home! it just doesn't seem that long ago that we were all in Logansport eating cake with the Tinchers. It was fun to hear about you being transferred all over the place, from Logansport to Lafayette to Carmel, but i'm sure you were used to traveling after driving around in the boondocks of the Logansport ward for months on end. I've enjoyed being able to serve around you at the beginning and end of your mission. I wish you well in all that you do and hope that you have a great time at home with the grand kids!

Hey, Elder and Sister Slade!!!!

You 2 are the BOMB!!! I loved being able to get to know you guys. I am sad that you have to leave. I enjoyed coming over and visiting you, when I was in Carmel. It made me sad when I had to leave. I loved the keen wa stuff, I don't know how to spell it. Your Cinnamon Rolls were to DIE!! for. I really wish that I got some more of those.

I'm not a very good writer for these

I hope that everything goes well when you go home. I'm going to miss you. I want you to know that this church is true, the sky is blue, Jesus Christ is still alive, and that the power of His atonement is real. That power has changed my life and changed who I am. I'm so GlaD that I got a testimony of this Church. It's the coolest thing to be serving Heavenly Father here, in the GREATEST MISSION ON EARTH!!!

I love you guys. Elder Aguirre 1078 S 110 W Farmingtion UT 84025
