We just concluded our family reunion. We were blessed to be able to have almost all of our children here with us. We surely missed Scott , Brittany and Jackson(but life kicks in sometimes and limits us).
We had a beautiful lodge in Featherville, ID. right on the south fork of the Boise river. I will let the pictures tell the story.

We took Hunter with us to camp with my nephew and his family for a couple of days. He learned more about building a fire. (Pix 2) collecting frogs.... (pix 3) going in for the big one and finding it is deeper than he thought.
Pix 4-- getting to ride his cousin Marissa's dirt bike. He was so good and patient waiting for his turn. He even picked flowers for her to tell her thanks for sharing her bike with him. He loved riding . He was reluctant to get off even when it was dark.

We had an enjoyable time with family and being able to take one of our grandchildren. we hope to take more of them other times.

We look forward to family reunion.....

We are finally home . We have been to Red Mesa(as noted in the previous blog) . We then went on to meet our friends , the Wood's in Arizona(around Greer) We had such a good time with them.

We were with them for 4 days, we headed for PHX and the dry heat of the desert. We got there in time to see Cayden and Devan competing in a swim meet. What fun that was. I wish I could have been a competitor- as it was cooler in the water I am sure.

Avery was there with her "Pink" umbrella and Mom and Dad.

The rest of the time we spent helping Brittany and Scott and of course Jackson move across the valley to Avondale. I had the most fun job--caring for Jackson. He laughs at everything and loves to be talked to. On Sun. we left with Jason and Tasha for Cancun.

boy!!!!!Have things changed on the airlines , they charged for the 1st bag, not music, no video(and it was a 4 hour flt), and we had to pay for any kind of food. $3 for just a snack. Oh well we got there in one piece--except for the bend in our suitcase frame.

We were at a very nice resort. good food and pristine pools. We went to Tolum and Xell-ha(shell ha__). that was very interesting and fun. the only draw back to the whole trip was the heat, and it was not a dry heat. I am sure it was 98% humidity. Oh my== everything was wet before we put it on.
