Dear Family,
We have had 3 long days of travel. With another 3 to go. We arrived in Nauvoo tonight in time to
Go to the play. It was cute and we got to see Courtney Slade. She is assistant to the President for the
Sisters. She is enjoying her mission.
I know you won’t believe this.. but as we stopped to find an RV place, we started to talk to one of the Elders here and it turned out to be RON LEE. He was my seminary teacher in Gallup along time ago. He and his wife were suppose to have us(my sisters and I) if something happened to Mom and Dad a long time ago……..any way he and his wife from back then got a divorce after 38 years and he is now married to some lady Sister Lee, from Cortez. She knew Dad’s family. Smmall world.
Then we were at the temple taking pictures and a Sister came up to help take one =---- she is from Mesa, lived at Gilbert and Southern , name of Flake. Related to Rolf the ever famous cowboy poet.
Interesting how things go. We are on the move to Kirtland today (Friday) may not make it the whole way as we are wearing out.

Good night , love you all.
Tonight we are in New York. In a full fledged camp ground with wi fi and all the hook ups. so here we are in a little home getting ready to shower and put on my bathrobe (which I haven't had on for 2 weeks now) stange.
Today we met a couple that knew Normans' dad in fact she was related. I hope the slide show makes it . lov eyou Mom and Dad

We have had such a good experience attending the MTC. We have met some outstanding couples. Enjoyed getting to know them . The one of Me with a sister missionary , she was our teacher. She was outstanding also. So cute and fun. She is getting married in June. The other picture is of me trying to get a stain out of Elder Slade's tie, it just so happens to be his favorite.
We are learning how to make presentations , virtually, about the things in our center.
Our actual mailing address is 357 LDS Lane, South Royalton, VT 05068
Love all of you,
Elder and Sister US' Mom and Dad

It was Avery's birthday - the day we got there and we were able to celebrate with her.
Cayden played T-ball . It was fun to be able to see him running bases and hitting the ball
and being able to get his uniform dirty(which seemed to be the goal of each little boy) ,
By the time Sunday was midway-- everyone was tired...........sooooooooooooooooo
nap time.

We were able to go to Lynn & Jakes this past week end for the blessing of their sweet
baby girl, Annabelle. Prior to arriving in California, we stopped at my parents for the night
then went on to Arizona to see the boys and their families. We hadn't seen them since Nov.
It was so fun to be with their families and enjoy the grandchild. What a blessing it is to have
family.
Scott and Jason drove with us on to Calif. (we traded who rode with whom) , we got a chance to visit and then spend Saturday nite together. What fun that was --all of us together for a while. We missed the spouses, and other grandchildren, but you usually can't have everything.
While on our trip we learned that we would need to take our 5th wheel to live in, because the landlords around there don't rent for less than 1 year(because of the law school in the area) .
We began to try to figure out how to live in the one we had. It was nice but made only for camping(the closet and bathroom area were tiny) (closets-2, were about 12 inches wide each)
So we began to look to trade for something else. Time being limited --we were afraid we would have to buy new($$$$$$$$$$$$$$$) , There was intervention, and we found a nice used one 2001, with a front closet and larger bath. It is only 1 ft. longer than we had.....
So now we are packing it, after unpacking the other.
We will begin to pack our clothes--we need to pack for the MTC and the trailer. Things are starting to move fast. Our wheels are spinning.
